Paul Miller, 80, of St. Paris passed away at 6:25 p.m. Friday, May 21, 2010, 
in his residence. He was born in Denmar, W.Va. on March 22,1930, the son of 
the late Summers and Betty (Phillips) Miller. He married Lou Ellen Foster, the 
love of his life, and they shared 59 years together.
Paul is survived by two daughters and two sons, Debbie (Denny) DeWeese of Troy 
and Diana (Mike) Wallen of St. Paris, Jeff Miller of Piqua and Paul Steven 
Miller Jr. of St. Paris. He also is survived by seven grandchildren, Daisy 
Gatt of North Carolina, Deanna DeWeese of North Carolina, Sarah Miller of 
Piqua, Savannah and Michael Wallen of St. Paris, Alicia Marston of Alaska and 
Ariel Oxenford of Wyoming; three great-grandchildren, Ethan Gatt, Billy 
Oxenford and Peyton Talbot; three sisters, Dorothy (Arnold) McClure of W.Va., 
Mildred Marshall of Virginia and Betty McCutcheon of W. Va.
Paul also is survived by several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, a son, Ervin L. Miller and three brothers, Junior 
W. Miller, Clyde F. Miller and Melvin J. Miller, preceded him in death.
Paul retired from Dinner Bell, Troy after 39 years as a truck driver. He also 
drove for Hobart in the Mobile Demonstration Unit. He served in the U.S. Army 
during World War II and was a member of the The Philip Grieser VFW Post 7645 
of St. Paris for 26 years and the Franklin Masonic Lodge 14 of Troy for 45 
years.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Atkins-Shively Funeral 
Home, 216 S. Springfield St., St. Paris with the Rev. Ron Miller presiding. 
Burial will follow in Evergreen Cemetery, St. Paris with military honors by 
the Veteran's Elite Tribute Squad of Piqua.
Visitation for family and friends will be held fro, 5-8 p.m. today at the 
funeral home with 7:30 p.m. Masonic services
