Fred McCarty
Fred McCarty Jr., 67, of Greenfield, died May 26, 1998, at Highland District Hospital, 
Hillsboro.
   Born July 17, 1930, in Columbus, he was the son of Fred McCarty and Goldie 
(Mullins) McCarty.
   He is survived by his wife, Lenora (Gray) McCarty; four sons, Thomas E. McCarty of 
Greenfield, Fred D. McCarty of Newark, Christopher McCarty of Greenfield and Russell 
E. McCarty of Greenfield; one daughter, Rebecca Sebrina Lundquist of Rudioso Downs, 
N.M.; four sisters, Dorothy Weese of Neward, Faye Williams of Zanesville, Helen 
Kimber of London and Goldie Clark of Newark; and one brother, Thomas McCarty of 
London.
   He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Timothy McCarty.
   A truck driver, he was a member of the V.F.W.  and served in the U.S. Army, Korean 
Conflict.
   Funeral services will be held at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at the Murray Funeral Home, 
Greenfield. Rev. Ken Burchett will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory 
Gardens, Hillsboro. Visitation will be held Thursday from 2 p.m. until time of service. 
Military rites will be given by the Highland County Honor Guard.
