Robert H. Hamilton
   Robert H. (Bud) Hamilton, 79, of Hillsboro, died Tuesday, May 26, 1998, at Heartland 
Nursing Center.
   He was born Jan. 8, 1919, in Belfast, the son of the late John E. and Nannie (Tannehill) 
Hamilton.
   He was a member of the Belfast Presbyterian Church and retired after 32 years of 
service with Irwin Auger Bit in Wilmington.
   He is survived by his wife, Marie (Markins) Hamilton, whom he married Nov. 9, 1939; 
a son and daughter-in-law, J. Robert and Cary Hamilton of Lebanon, Tenn.; two 
daughters and sons-in-law, Lynn and Galen Neal of Hillsboro and Kay and Richard 
Burns of Mowrystown; and three grandchildren, Joe and Travis Burns and Devin 
Hamilton.
   Graveside services will be at the convenience of the family. The Rev. Tom Zile will be 
officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Hope Miller-Thompson Funeral Home is in charge 
of arrangements.
   The family requests memorials be made to the Highland County Society for Children & 
Adults, c/o Betty Collins, 318 Chilicothe Ave., Hillsboro.
